Crockpot Pulled BBQ Chicken

This has to be the simplest and easiest Crockpot Pulled BBQ Chicken I have ever seen or used. You only need two things: chicken breasts and a Crockpot. Can it be any easier and taste this good?

Crockpot Pulled BBQ Chicken


  • Skinless/boneless chicken breasts (2 1/2 – 5 lbs)
  • 1 or 2 bottles BBQ sauce (I prefer Sweet Baby Ray’s)


  1. Place chicken breasts into Crockpot.
  2. Cover with BBQ sauce.
  3. Cook on low for 4 – 6 hours depending on amount of chicken. (Test periodically to see if it is done.)
  4. Remove from Crockpot and shredded chicken breasts.
  5. Spoon sauce from Crockpot over shredded chicken.

Note: I like to have a lot of BBQ sauce on the meat, so I always add some of my own sauce (I prefer Sweet Baby Ray’s original). I just heat it up some in a pan on the stove and pour over the chicken to make it nice and “saucy”.
