You really do need to fix these and you’ll see why I like them so much. Crockpot easy and a really great potato side dish. I don’t know any one that doesn’t like potatoes au gratin and this is just a great twist on that family favorite.

Crockpot Parmesan Potato Wedges

Crockpot Parmesan Potato Wedges


  • 2½ pounds red potatoes, cut in wedges
  • ½ cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1½ teaspoons oregano, dried
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ – ½ teaspoon pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 – 2 tablespoons butter, cut in ⅛ inch pieces
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese


  1. Wash and dry the potatoes.
  2. Cut them into ½ inch wedges.
  3. Add potatoes, onion, oregano, salt and pepper to the Crockpot.
  4. Mix ingredients together.
  5. Sprinkle butter pieces on top of the potatoes.
  6. Cover and cook on high for 3½ – 4 hours.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese as desired and serve.


  1. I prefer Kosher salt for this recipe.
  2. After cooking, add more salt and pepper if desired.
