Crockpot Orange Pineapple Glazed Ham

Crockpot Orange Pineapple Glazed Ham

Crockpot Orange Pineapple Glazed Ham – I have decided to share with you an alternative to the traditional turkey dinner. Ham is on sale in many places right now and it is a lovely option if you don’t want to cook a bird of any type. Face it, some people just don’t like turkey! Sometimes the Thanksgiving meal can get tired and boring, having the same thing year after year, while it may be tradition, it can just be blech. So let’s make a ham!

This glazed ham is so good. The best tasting glazed ham I have ever eaten. Honey glazed is very good and I will still have it sometimes, but my family went wild over this Crockpot Orange Pineapple Glazed Ham. I will have to make in again really soon. It is so much cheaper to fix a delicious ham like this than to buy one from those “fancy ham” places. You know where I am refering to and the price will be about 25% of their price.

Crockpot Orange Pineapple Glazed Ham

  • 1 precooked spiral sliced ham (I used a smallish 7 pound one)
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 – 15 oz can of mandarin oranges
  • 1 – 15 oz can of pineapples (crushed, tidbits, sliced, anything since you’ll blend it anyways)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves

  1. Place ham in Crockpot
  2. Pour fruit into blender
  3. Blend fruit until lumpy or smooth – not much difference for this glaze
  4. Pour blender contents over ham
  5. Pour brown sugar over ham and press down onto ham
  6. Sprinkle cloves over top of ham
  7. Cook on high for an hour and then turn down to low for an additional 2 hours.  Then place on warm until ready to serve.
  8. Enjoy!
