Crockpot Candied Pecans

I have have the store bought versions of these treats, but I never had a good recipe to fix it at home. Now I have a great Crockpot Candied Pecans recipe and it is delicious. These are as good or better than the store bought versions and Crockpot easy. Just put the main ingredients in the Crockpot and later, when the pecan are done. toss them in the spice mix. Really easy and really good.

Crockpot Candied Pecans

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (1 stick) butter
  • 16 oz pecan halves
  • ½ cup powdered sugar

Spice Mix

  • 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • Pinch of salt

Directions

  1. Preheat crockpot on high for 15 minutes.
  2. Melt butter in crockpot.
  3. Add pecans and stir to coat.
  4. Stir in powdered sugar & coat pecans.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 15 minutes.
  6. Uncover & turn to low, cooking for about 3 hours.
  7. Stir occasionally, until crisp glaze forms.
  8. Toss pecans to coat in spice mixture.
  9. Spread on parchment paper lined cookie sheet and cool.
